دشنت شركة فايكينج العالمية للسياحة أحدث منشآتها السياحية العملاقة بنهر النيل، الباخرة فايكينج أوزوريس، حيث أعطى إشارة التدشين السيد تونى هوفمان نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة، والمهندس سيد فاروق رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة المقاولون العرب، المصنعة للفندق العائم ، وذلك بترسانة المعصرة التابعة للشركة.
شهد مراسم التدشين الأستاذ محمد البنا، و الأستاذ شريف البنا رئيس شركة فايكينج نايل كروز إيجيبت، والدكتور محمد يوسف عضو مجلس إدارة شركة المقاولون العرب، والمهندس خالد عيسى عضو مجلس تنفيذي الشركة رئيس قطاعات المشروعات الكهروميكانيكية والتصنيع، والمهندس أحمد عيسى رئيس قطاع التصنيع، والمهندس أسامة الدسوقى مدير إدارة ترسانة المعصرة المنفذة للأعمال، و مهندسى و مشرفى و عمال الشركة.
وأعرب المهندس سيد فاروق رئيس شركة المقاولون العرب، عن بالغ سعادته بالإنتهاء من تصنيع تلك الوحدة النهرية داخل ترسانة الشركة، مضيفا أن ذلك المشروع يعد دليلا على الاستقرار الذى تشهده مصر، و جهود الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسى،و الحكومة المصرية، فى جلب الاستثمارات الأجنبية لمصر ، وأضاف أن أبناء المقاولون العرب استطاعوا تنفيذ المشروع بكفاءة عالية، ووجه التحية و التقدير لكافة العاملين بالترسانة.
وتعد الباخرة فايكينج أوزوريس أحدث المنشآت السياحية بنهر النيل، وهى بطول كلى يبلغ 72 متر ،وعرض 14.5متر، وارتفاع 10.30 متر، و يصل وزنها إلى 750 طن، وتضم 41 غرفة وسويت ، وقد تم إنشائها بإشراف من هيئة الإشراف البحرية الدولية اللويدز ريجيستر الإنجليزية، وتعد واحدة من الواجهات السياحية والاستثمارية العالمية فى الفنادق العائمة بنهر النيل، وقد تم التصميم والتنفيذ ليواكب أحدث تكنولوجيا بناء السفن الموفرة للطاقة والصديقة للبيئة طبقا لمتطلبات هيئة الملاحة النهرية المصرية .
وعقب التدشين وقعت فايكينج العالمية والمقاولون العرب خطاب نوايا لبناء عدد إثنين فندق عائم جديد ،من نفس السلسلة العملاقة بترسانة المعصرة والتى تعد الترسانة الوحيدة بالقاهرة التى تصنع هذا النوع من الفنادق العائمة لامتلاكها أحدث المعدات، كما تتوافر بها الخبرات العالية فى هذا المجال والتى تكونت على مدار ما يقرب من 40 عام ،وتمتلك الترسانة رافع سفن حمولة 1600 طن، بالإضافة إلى التقنيات الفنية التى تمتلكها ترسانة المعصرة والتى تجعلها رائدة فى هذا المجال ، وتعتبر الترسانة إحدى القلاع الصناعية بشركة المقاولون العرب، بجانب تاريخها العريق فى صناعة الفنادق والمطاعم العائمة والعائمات وإجراء أعمال الصيانة المتكاملة للوحدات النهرية، إلى جانب مشاركتها فى تصنيع وتركيب القطاعات المعدنية للمشروعات الكبرى والقومية التى تقوم بها الشركة، كما قامت بتنفيذ مايقرب من 90 فندقاً عائماً ومطعم سياحي خمس نجوم، وبارجات نقل البضائع والأتوبيسات النهرية والعائمات واليخوت واللنشات والقاطرات والأوناش العائمة حمولات حتى 150طن والبنتونات العائمة بمتطلبات هیئات الإشراف الدولية البجرية، و تصنيع 4 أتوبيسات نهرية لجمهورية السودان ، وتصنيع وتوريد عبارتين نهريتين للعمل بدولة غانا.
Viking International and Arab Contractors launching the giant cruise “Viking Osiris” on the Nile River
Viking International Company for Tourism has launched its latest giant cruise on the Nile River, “Viking Osiris”. The launch was given by Mr. Tony Hoffman – Vice President and Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company which manufactured the floating hotel at Massara Shipyard.
This was in the presence of Mr. Mohamed El Banna , Mr. Sherif El Banna– Chairman of Viking Nile Cruise Egypt, Dr. Mohamed Youssef – Board Member of the Arab Contractors Company, Eng. Khaled Eissa – Executive Board Member and Head of Electromechanical Projects and Manufacturing Sectors, Eng. Ahmed Eissa – Head of Manufacturing Sector, Eng. Osama El Desouki – Manager of Massara Shipyard which implemented the works and the company engineers, supervisors and workers.
Eng. Sayed Farouk – CEO and Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company expressed his great happiness at the completion of the manufacture of that river unit in the company’s shipyard. He added that this project is considered evidence of Egypt’s stability and the efforts of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Egyptian Government in attracting foreign investments to Egypt. He stated that the workers of the Arab Contractors were able to carry out the project with great efficiency, and he paid tribute and appreciation to all the workers of the shipyard.
“Viking Osiris” Cruise is the newest tourist facility on the Nile River, with a total length of 72 m, 14.5 m width, 10.30 m height and its weight reached 750 tons. It includes 41 rooms and suites. It was implemented under the supervision of Lloyd’s Register. It is considered one of the global tourist and investment destinations in the floating hotels on the Nile River. It has been designed and implemented to keep up with the latest energy-saving and environmentally friendly shipbuilding technology according to the requirements of the Egyptian River Navigation Authority.
After the launching, Viking International and Arab Contractors signed a letter of intent to build two new floating hotels of the same giant type in Massara Shipyard, which is the only Egyptian shipyard that manufacturing this type floating hotels for having state-of-the-art equipment, as well as high experience in this field, which has been built up over 40 years. The shipyard has a 1600 ton ship lift, besides its technical techniques which make it a pioneer in this field. Massara Shipyard is one of the industrial castles of the Arab Contractors Company, along with its long history of manufacturing floating hotels and restaurants, floaters and carrying out integrated maintenance work for the river units. Besides, its participation in the manufacturing and installation of the metal sectors for the mega and national projects which were implemented by the company. Massara Shipyard executed nearly 90 floating hotels, five-star tourist restaurants, cargo barges, river buses, floaters, yachts, motorboats, locomotives, floating cranes with a capacity up to 150 ton, floating pontoons according to the requirements of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), the manufacturing of 4 river buses for Sudan and the manufacturing and supplying of 2 river ferries to work in Ghana.
